What we collect

• Valuation inputs

  Make, model, year, mileage, condition. Stored against an anonymous valuation row. No identifier ties it to you unless you submit your email.

• Email (optional)

  Only when you click 'Email me the report'. Used to send the report itself and, if you opt in, price-change alerts for the same car. You can unsubscribe from any email.

• Hashed IP + user agent

  We compute a SHA-256 hash of your IP and store the hash (never the plain IP). It's used for rate-limiting and abuse review. Same goes for your browser's user-agent string.

• Anonymous analytics

  Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure Core Web Vitals (LCP / INP / CLS). No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no PII.

• Cookies

  None for regular visitors. The only cookies on this site are Supabase Auth session cookies on /admin, which only our team uses.

What we don't collect

• · Your plaintext IP address.
• · Your name, phone number, or address.
• · Any data about your car beyond the five fields above.
• · Anything used to retarget you on ad networks.

Who processes your data

CarWorth runs on a small set of well-known providers. Each only sees what they need to do their job:

• Supabase

  Hosts the database (region: Sydney, Australia). Stores valuation rows, optional emails, and hashed IPs.

• Resend

  Sends report emails and price-change alerts. Only sees your email and the message content.

• Vercel

  Hosts the website and serves traffic. Provides the anonymous analytics described above.

Retention and deletion

Valuation rows are kept indefinitely so we can improve the engine (they help us understand which segments to densify). They contain no personal data on their own. Lead emails are kept until you ask us to delete them. To request deletion, email hello@carworth.ae from the address you signed up with — we'll confirm within 7 days.

Children

CarWorth is intended for adults negotiating real used-car transactions. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and bump the date above. Material changes (a new processor, a new category of data) will go out as an email to anyone who has submitted one.
